Who We Are

Kordeck and Associates is a family owned small business limited liability corporation. We have been classified by industry professionals and marketers as “in the business of Administrative Consulting”. We have partnered with hundreds of local contractors in many states of the country. The contractors take on responsibilities for everything from remote signings to document filings. Sometimes, we even use attorneys to support our client’s needs. We opened our doors in the fall of 2021. Since our humble beginning, five years ago, we have beta tested our methods. We have had successes with a good measure of failure. Sometimes we failed because we were trying new, untested ideas. Sometimes we tweaked the failures and were surprised with the exceptional new success. Either way, we learned something new each time. We are always adjusting to our customer needs while maintaining a method and procedure. As our business is not a cookie cutter business, many of our customers are pleasantly pleased with the flexibility we offer to tailor meet their needs. Finally, over the years we have owned several successful unrelated small businesses. These opportunities served to train and provided us a strong foundation for this venture. Even though our past experiences were pleasant, this new business is by far the most enjoyable experience we have ever had. We look forward to enjoying it with you!

Mary

Mary is the company matriarch. She runs the office with a firm but gentle hand. She has a keen eye on meeting deadlines. When not talking to clients, she is organizing packages for submittal. Other company activities include keeping our deck crew engaged and on point. In time away from the company, Mary operates a school bus for developmentally disabled students. She is a seignior operator for the company with over twenty seven years of service. She has taken the unpaid position of shop steward, unanimously elected by her coworkers. After many years of service, Mary is looking forward to retirement so that she can put a full time effort into the business. Other alkaloids include; officer and member of two local volunteer fire companies ladies auxiliary organizations, officer and member of a regional ladies auxiliary group, officer and member of the state ladies auxiliary organization, and finally support of a fireman’s retirement home upstate.

Marty

Marty trained as an electrical engineering technician. Graduate training included an apprenticeship with the JATC/IBEW. After completion, Marty received a state regent’s certificate as a journeyman wireman. Other industry specific training included cross training as lineman, telephony, IT Physical plant, SCADA and many others. In parallel and compliment to his training and occupation, Martin operated small businesses. One of which was a retail sport diving supply store. The activities included teaching, equipment repairing, and commercial diving to name a few. Another business was residential electrical construction and maintenance. As a director, he has a “balls to the wall guy’s” ambition which gives us the tenacity to overcome adversity with perseverance. He has pointed out to us many times that not doing something because someone told it won’t work is not a good reason. You have to first try it to know it will work. This gives us the dynamic of new things that no one else has to offer. Marty hopes to hand off his many experiences to the other members. His efforts will pass on a vibrant business with future sustainability. From there he will follow his passion of big game hunting in the bush of wild north Canada or deep-sea fishing and diving in the Caribbean.

Andrew

Andrew is definitely an anchorman for the Kor team. Affectionately referred to as big man, he is a gentle giant. Truly a hit at Christmas playing Santa, he gives new meaning to a jelly belly HO HO HO! The little ones can never get enough and the world’s largest secret lives on. While studying to be an electrical engineer in college, Andrew worked jobs as a mate on a cruise ship and a chef in a local Italian restaurant. As time moved forward Andrew diversified and studied criminal justice and became a state law enforcement officer. As he approached the completion of training, the opportunity to specialize in corrections presented. He joined the state prison system where he works in maximum security facilities. Ambitious as he is, he has achieved the rank of sergeant’. As a supervisor, Andrew leads by example and gives direction to less experienced officers. Andrew contributes what he can when not working ridiculous hours at the jail. Recently, he keypunched two documents making them templates for reuse multiple times. This contribution saves us enormous amounts of valuable time which can be spent on other business activities.

Michelle

Michelle is another prime member of the Kor team. Her duties include talking with clients on the phone and answering their question. She has a keen eye for record keeping which ensures accuracy. She selects the correct application of the many forms we use to file a claim. As an owner/operator Michelle attends to tasks which are too numerous to mention. Prior to her commitment as a full time mother and a nurse for a local medical practice, Michelle attended a local college. As a nursing school graduate, Michelle volunteered as a medical first responder for a local fire company in the spirit of community service. Her life experience has seasoned her for great things to come.

The Deck Crew

This is the next generation of entrepreneurs. They help us to keep things ship shape. Looking up to their mentors, they are extremely excited about how others are helped in such a positive way. They actively participate in copying, mailings and a lot of faxing around. Although we provide sponges to moisten the envelope flaps, they are obsessed with the minty flavor. When all is done, there is the matter of the postage stamp. They want to know if someone places a forever stamp on them, will they live forever? With lots of love, they’ve settled for the idea that the business may.

Please don’t be annoyed. We sometimes let the deck crew answer the phone. Remember, with practice comes greatness!
